Did you know? What is grooming? -

Child safety experts consider grooming a core component of sexual abuse. Grooming is a manipulative process in which a person who intends harm gains access to a child, often through behaviors that seem innocent, and builds up a relationship that will ultimately allow the predator to abuse the child. Children who are groomed are slowly taught to accept and excuse any behaviors by the predator, because of the relationship that has been built up over time. A predator relies on manipulation to reduce a child’s resistance and to maintain secrecy. ¿Sabia Que? ¿Qué es el grooming? -

Los expertos en seguridad infantil consideran que el “grooming” o engaño que violan límites personales es un componente fundamental del abuso sexual. El “grooming” es un proceso manipulador en el que una persona con intenciones maliciosas se gana la confianza de un niño mediante comportamientos que parecen inocentes y establece una relación que permitirá al depredador abusar del niño. A los niños que son víctimas del “grooming” se les va enseñando poco a poco a aceptar y justificar cualquier comportamiento del depredador, debido a la relación que se ha ido construyendo con el tiempo. El depredador recurre a la manipulación para reducir la resistencia del niño y mantener el secreto.
