Did you know? April is Child Abuse Prevention Month -

Happy Easter! Along with the celebration of Easter, April is also Child Abuse Prevention Month. Saint Augustine said that we are “Easter People whose song is Alleluia” – living in the fullness of the resurrection drawing all around them to a place of light, wholeness, and the richness of the graces made available to them by the power of the passion and redemption of Jesus. In this spirit, there is no better time to celebrate the protection of children, our most precious gift from God. The Office of Safeguard the Children has created a Resource Booklet to help individuals, parishes and schools plan for Child Abuse Prevention Month. ¡Felices Pascuas! Junto con la celebración de la Pascua, abril es también el Mes de la Prevención del Abuso Infantil. San Agustín nos dijo que somos un “pueblo pascual y el Aleluya es nuestro canto” – vivimos en la plenitud de la resurrección atrayendo a todos al luz, plenitud y riqueza de las gracias que son concedidas por el poder de la pasión y la redención de Jesús.
