Did you know? Sorting fact vs. fiction on abductions -

During the holidays, many people travel to see family. It’s important to be prepared for any dangers of traveling, including human trafficking — and to know the facts about abductions and trafficking. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), about 100 children per year are abducted by strangers across the nation. Although most abductions involve someone the victim knows and even trusts, “stranger danger” still exists. Always be careful in protecting our children and young people wherever they are. Durante las fiestas, mucha gente viaja para visitar a sus familiares. Es importante estar preparado para cualquier peligro que pueda surgir durante un viaje, incluido el tráfico de personas y saber la realidad sobre los secuestros y el tráfico de personas. Según el Centro Nacional para Niños Desaparecidos y Explotados, cada año unos 100 niños son secuestrados por desconocidos en todo el país.
